VP of Global Continuous Improvement and Quality

Wahl Clipper Corporation, a global manufacturer of branded Consumer and Professional products, has an exciting opportunity for a team-oriented individual to fill the role of VP of Global Continuous Improvement and Quality.

Responsible for the development and implementation of global continuous improvement and quality systems that support the organizational and operational objectives. The position has global responsibility and involves heavy collaboration with other leaders to ensure "One Wahl" alignment of continuous improvement and quality strategy, philosophy, systems and business practices in support of achieve a world class customer experience. This position reports to the COO.

• A bachelor's degree in engineering or a related science field is required. An MBA is highly preferred.
• The position requires a technical leader with a proven track record in managing global operations.
• Must have 10 to 15 years in senior operations management roles. This includes having broad multi-functional experience overseeing manufacturing, engineering, supply chain and quality.
• Strong presentation skills with an ability to discuss information in greater detail with top management and/or the board of directors. Demonstrated excellent communication
• Demonstrated subject matter expertise in Lean, Problem Solving and/or related
• Strong business and finance acumen and experience.
• Experience leading an operation and a track record of building a strong
• Project management experience.
• Proven track record leading large scale operational and strategic projects.
• Change management capability.
• A proven record of driving strategic change, productivity and operational excellence in the processes that support the business.
• Strong leadership skills through direct and matrixed organization.
