Wahl Clipper Corporation, a global manufacturer of branded Consumer and Professional products, has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Territory Manager.

The Territory Manager is responsible for the sales and profits of the territory. This position works with confidential information regarding costs, sales, and profits and must be familiar with manufacturing & open distribution business model in our Southeast territory: including but not limited to TN, NC, SC, GA, and FL.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Introduces new products and gains acceptance of necessary cost increases
  • Monitors distributor pricing on a consistent basis to ensure Minimum Advertised Price guidelines are being followed
  • Works with competing distributors in open territory and develops high-performance salespeople and educators
  • Evaluates existing distributor networks and works to improve the network and increase of sales/profits
  • Partners with the National Sales Manager to develop distributors and develop new business within existing distributors
  • Assists in the development and ensures the execution of strategic operating plans down to and through the distributors
  • Participates in industry promotional events, exhibitions, and shows in their territory as well as select national events

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business (or related) and previous distributor or manufacturer's sales experience required; Equivalent Wahl experience will be considered.
  • Languages preferred: English, Spanish, Korean
  • Position requires 50-70% travel, weekend travel for shows and events
  • Excellent computer skills, Word, Excel, PowerPoint
  • Must reside within assigned territory
  • Requires valid passport and driver's license
  • Strong verbal & written communication skills
  • High-level customer service skills
  • Ability to model the "Wahl Way"
