Senior Graphic Designer - Professional Animal

Wahl Clipper Corporation, a global manufacturer of branded Consumer and Professional products, has an exciting opportunity for a team-oriented individual to fill the role of Senior Graphic Designer at our headquarters in Sterling, Illinois.

This position is responsible for all creative strategy within division and visual brand champion. This position reports directly to the Marketing Manager. The Production Designer reports directly into this position.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Maintain brand equity and consistency, as well as providing guidance to best practices
• Develop full scale creative strategy that accurately aligns with brand voice.
• Create a high-quality standard of work that is effectively communicated to production staff.
• Maintain project traffic management throughout department.
• Works externally with freelancers, developers, printing vendors, subsidiaries, sales team, partners and customers.
• Works cross-functionally with production staff in assigning overtime necessary to meet any overloaded demand.
• Creates logos, icons, and illustrations for the division.
• Constantly researching latest technologies to benefit division efforts to add value to the customer.

Minimum requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design or related field
• 7-10 years of equivalent experience required
• Knowledge of Creative Suite Programs
  • e. Photoshop and Illustrator
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office Software
• Experience with Keyshot software preferred
• Experience with UX/UI development preferred
• Proven planning and organizational skills
• Ability to model the Company's culture of teamwork, continuous improvement, and respect for every individual.
