Sales and Operations Representative

Wahl Clipper Corporation, a global manufacturer of branded Consumer and Professional products, has an exciting opportunity for a team-oriented individual to fill the role of Sales and Operations Representative at our headquarters in Sterling, Illinois.

This position supports the Sales & Operations Supervisor of the Professional Animal Division and is a key driver to ensuring availability of product at the most efficient cost within the Professional Animal Division. This role will be responsible for assisting the Sales & Operations Manager in establishing alignment between our sales, marketing, and operations strategies to drive network optimization across our Pro Animal customers.

In this role you will directly interface with Marketing, Sales, Operations and Finance. The Animal S&OP Representative serves as the subject matter expert for inventory allocations, while supporting various projects and initiatives including; quality issue resolution, shipping error resolution, and on-time delivery assurance. This position also assists the Professional Animal Division Director, and Sales and Marketing Managers. The Animal Sales and Operations Representative reports directly to the Sales & Operations Supervisor.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Work with Sales and the Shipping department to allocate inventory as needed to ensure 100% on-time customer PO fulfillment, placing priority on "Do Not Backorder" customers.
• Primary responsibility is for non-EDI accounts but trained to serve as a back-up on EDI accounts.
• Work with the Sales & Operations Supervisor to ensure on-time customer deliveries.
• Collaborate with Shipping to improve shipping accuracy; identify and resolve the root cause(s) of shipping errors; issue bi-weekly reports.
• Track and report bi-weekly on Lost Sales; work with Sales and Operations Supervisor to identify and resolve the root cause
• Work with designated departments (Quality Control, Purchasing, etc.) to resolve/prevent customer complaints. This includes coordinating rework and MSC product approvals.
• Manage Amazon Vendor Central shipment detail.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

• High school diploma or GED
• 2-3 years related experience, preferably in a manufacturing setting
• Must have effective communication, interpersonal, computer and organizational skills.
• Ability to work in fast paced, high energy environment.
• Experience in Microsoft applications required and knowledge of D365 beneficial.
• Ability to work well under stress and handle multiple tasks
