Sales Support Coordinator

This position in the North American Consumer Division will perform a variety of tasks related to order processing for the Consumer Division which includes US and Mexico accounts, maintaining Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) formats and specifications from individual retailers and entering data into EDI, entering manual orders and assisting the Business Manager in maintaining IMR Contracts and Commissions.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  1. Throughout the performance of the tasks, the position is responsible for timely processing of orders. Also, responsible for taking necessary action to complete the order process including but not limited to the maintenance of EDI order entry; i.e. updating orders and problems that may occur within EDI processes.
  2. For NA Consumer support, the position tracks orders, providing support to customers, sales managers, and manufacturing representatives, and assisting National Account Support Managers as needed.
  3. For Mexico customer support, position must work with different processing system regulations through both email and EDI systems. Must complete the needed documents for the order to be completed and processed for shipment.
  4. The position will assist the Business Manager in maintaining and updating Independent Manufacturer's Representative contracts.
  5. The position will maintain the commission policy, review, make corrections and distribute commission reports under the direction of the Business Manager.
  6. Performs all other duties as assigned by Supervisor

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor's degree or Associates with equivalent experience. 
  • Must be able to use Microsoft computer application and be proficient on Excel. 
  • Must have effective customer service skills, be detailed oriented with a high degree of accuracy and the ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
  • Organizational and strong communications skills (oral and written) are required. 
  • A working knowledge of AS400, Mapics and/or AX would be helpful.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) skills would be beneficial.
