Sales Service Coordinator

Wahl Clipper Corporation, a global manufacturer of branded Consumer and Professional products, has an exciting opportunity for an entry level Sales Service Coordinator to join our Consumer Administration team at our Global Headquarters in Sterling, Illinois.

This position is responsible for Customer Service activities from customer set up through payment of order invoices. The Sales Service Coordinator collaborates with other sales personnel, as well shipping, finance, sourcing, planning and demand management personnel to ensure that objectives for customer service are met.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

1. Enter and maintain information in customer master, including set up, managing customer master data, , item trade agreements and item cross reference.
2. Enters orders or maintains EDI information to assure smooth flow of orders into the D365 system.
3. Review errors on EDI orders that are preventing flow into D365, resolve as needed.
4. Reserve order lines in D365 to shipping.
5. Manage orders from receipt through payment of invoices, must understand outbound order lead time to plan, reserve, and release customer orders to ship.
6. Responsible for communicating with shipping and transportation teams to manage order flow and resolve any issues preventing shipments.
7. Research and resolve shipping discrepancies, shortages, issue credits, other resolution as necessary.
8. Provide shipped and open order information to the sales force as needed.
9. Collaborates with finance to monitor customer credit status to ensure timely shipments.
10. Provide information to support customer inquiries.
11. Enter RMAs and Credit memos.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

• Proficient computer skills with emphasis on Microsoft Applications
• Knowledge of and experience on D365 ERP System
• Effective organizational skills and ability to set priorities to manage a fluctuating workload.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to follow standard work instructions.
• Strong commitment to creating value for the customer.
• Must understand and embrace the Wahl values and culture.
• Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• 1-3 years of experience in customer service, office administration or comparable function
