This position is responsible for leading our Quality Assurance Auditors. Responsibilities consist of setting expectations, coaching, developing, and creating an empowered environment. This position is integral to the achievement of the Sterling Quality Key Performance Indicators (KPI's). The Supervisor reports directly to the Quality Assurance Manager. This position directly oversees the Quality Assurance Auditors.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Deploy and execute operational objectives that aligns with department and company goals. Set clear expectations and SMART goals for the Auditing team.
• Supervise, coach, and empower Quality Auditors, by understanding the current state, and supporting improvements to meet customer and employee objectives.
• Tactically make decisions based on proper input to develop solutions to achieve SMART goals.
• Effectively communicate execution gaps in standing meetings (i.e., Leadership huddles, GEMBA walks, etc.) and present solutions to meet customer and employee objectives.
• Lead the Daily Quality Assurance Auditor Huddles.
• Continuously improve the performance of the Quality Assurance Auditing Function, through waste opportunity identification and elimination. Continuously improve the end-to-end performance of the group from supplied components and materials to the end customer.
• Develop Quality Assurance Standard Work that can be used as a baseline for performance and accountabilities.
• Lead and Develop employees displaying the Wahl Way Principles.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

• High school diploma or equivalent is required. Two-year college degree is preferred.
• Must possess strong supervisory skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively with both employees and management.
• Hands-on skill and detailed knowledge of lean manufacturing principles is required.
• Hands-on skill and detailed knowledge of Six Sigma principles is required. Six Sigma Green Belt Certification a plus.
• Receptive to continuing education and training in the areas of supervision, safety, manufacturing technology, scheduling, quality, and lean manufacturing.
• Ability to model "Wahl Way" competencies including respect for every individual, focus on process, and create value for the customer.
