Production Control Analyst II

Wahl Clipper Corporation, a global manufacturer of branded Consumer and Professional products, has an exciting opportunity for a team-oriented individual to fill the role of Production Control Analyst II at our North America manufacturing plant in Sterling, Illinois.

This position is responsible for overseeing and coordinating production activities to ensure everything runs efficiently and smoothly from planning to completion. The Production Control Analyst collaborates cross functionally to ensure that objectives for on-time delivery, quality and product satisfaction are met. The Production Control Analyst reports directly to the Production Control Manager.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Represents the voice of customer to ensure daily schedule is synchronized to meet customer delivery objectives
• Plans and releases production orders to create daily schedule
• Interfaces with front line leadership to understand real-time manufacturing capacity
• Performs maintenance of item attributes to ensure lead times are met
• Resolves problems concerning production scheduling and production documents
• Utilizes D365 Dynamics to plan, schedule, release production orders
• Prepares performance to plan reports to guide daily topics in support of customer fulfillment objectives
• Participates in the daily huddle to review performance to plan, take action, and close gaps
• Manages inventory strategies to achieve optimal flow for both internal and external customers

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:

• Review SMART goals daily to understand current state
• Promote quality-oriented mindset around data integrity with front line leadership
• Meet customer on time, in full expectations by reviewing operational performance & inventory flow
• Achieve inventory turn objectives by understanding customer demand and lead times to establish target inventory levels

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

• BS in Business, Operations Management, Supply Chain or related field of study required or comparable experience in an operations environment
• Proficient software skills (required)
• Excellent organizational, analytical, decision-making and communication skills
• Strong foundation in customer fulfillment and inventory management concepts
• Understanding of manufacturing end to end processes
• Must understand and embrace the Wahl values and culture
