Wahl Clipper Corporation, a global manufacturer of branded Consumer and Professional products, has an exciting opportunity for an entry level Sales Service Coordinator to join our Consumer Administration team at our Global Headquarters in Sterling, Illinois.

This position is responsible for Customer Service activities from customer set up through payment of order invoices. The Sales Service Coordinator collaborates with other sales personnel, as well shipping, finance, sourcing, planning and demand management personnel to ensure that objectives for customer service are met.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

1. Develop knowledge of Master Planning in D365 to understand critical input and management needed to achieve quality material planning signals
2. Drives daily production efficiencies by releasing and sequencing production orders based on material and capacity availability to achieve customer fill rate objectives
3. Manages material availability by monitoring D365 exception messages, actual usage and following up with necessary partners to secure material needs to support operations
4. Responsible for inventory levels related to assigned product lines and working with Material Buyers and Master Scheduler in problem solving and execution of countermeasures for deviations to planned inventory levels
5. Reviews inventory parameters to establish and maintain appropriate customer service driven safety stock levels while being compliant with company inventory objectives
6. Works with Master Scheduler and Manufacturing Cell Leader to thoroughly understand short-term capacities to minimize the cause for past due orders
7. Create, modify and maintain realistic material strategies that support product introductions and phase outs
8. Assists in resolving circumstances causing missed customer delivery dates or slow moving inventory by identifying causes and developing solutions to improve current and future state
9. Maintain accurate item attributes for existing products. Support Bill of Material changes and maintain inventory information to ensure accurate generation of production orders.
10. Participates in the daily huddle with manufacturing to review performance to plan, identify actions needed to close gaps and communicate back to Master Scheduler if plan is at risk

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

• Excellent organizational, analytical, decision-making and communication skills
• Proficient PC user- Must be able to use software packages including: Microsoft Work, Excel and PowerPoint
• Strong foundation in customer fulfillment and inventory management concepts
• Understanding of manufacturing end to end processes
• Must understand and embrace the Wahl values and culture
