Payroll Administrator

Wahl Clipper Corporation, a global manufacturer of branded Consumer and Professional products, has an exciting opportunity for a team-oriented individual to fill the role of Payroll Administrator at our Global Headquarters in Sterling, Illinois.

This position is responsible for payroll administration and time/attendance reporting, including running weekly payroll/various reports, vacation payouts and maintaining various employee reports.

• Associates Degree in Accounting preferred
• Certification in Payroll Administration, or willing to obtain
• 2-3 years of payroll or accounting experience required (manufacturing setting preferred)
• Must be able to use Microsoft computer applications, have strong keyboarding and 10 key calculator skills
• Must be willing to learn Mapics applications and use AS400
• Must have effective communication and customer service skills, be detailed oriented and have a high degree of accuracy
• Must possess strong organizational skills and be capable of working with a large volume of confidential information
• Ability to model the Company's values of respect for people, teamwork, and continuous improvement
