Operations Manager

Wahl Clipper Corporation, a global manufacturer of branded Consumer and Professional products, has an exciting opportunity for a team-oriented individual to fill the role of Operations Manager at our Global Headquarters in Sterling, Illinois.

The Operations Manager is responsible for manufacturing operations and all related supporting resources required to meet product quality requirements and delivery deadlines. They will manage relationships with supporting functions as the pertain to assembly and production. They will identify & create value for the customer and strive to continuously improve processes from end-to-end. This position reports directly to the Director of Operations - NA. Directly reporting to this position will be designated manufacturing supervisors. Indirect reports will include the Assistant Operations Manager, cell leaders and line leads.

• BA/BS degree with emphasis in a manufacturing discipline/technical field desired or seven years progressive leadership experiences in a manufacturing environment
• Demonstrated leadership experience including profit and loss responsibilities Solid manufacturing foundation with specific lean tools (5S, facilitation of Kaizen events, , etc.)
• Solid background in project management and training
• Ability to lead with humility and respect every individual
• Ability to embrace a culture of empowering employees, innovation and risk taking, and creating value for the customer
