This position provides technical manufacturing support in the area of the design, acquisition and troubleshooting of automation equipment, standard manufacturing equipment and processes to meet our quality requirements for new & existing products. Ensures all functions of job duties are performed in compliance with FDA 21 CFR - Parts 820 and ISO 13485.

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:

1. Designs/redesigns and procures automation equipment.
2. Develops purchase orders for purchase of equipment.
3. Troubleshoots mechanical and electronic equipment and devices.
4. Provides technical support to Set-Up, Machine Maintainers and Maintenance

Personnel.

1. Writes and updates company equipment standards.
2. Works to improve productivity, quality and decrease costs of manufacturing process.
3. Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Automation Engineering, or related field of study.
• 5 - 7 years of related experience, preferable in a LEAN manufacturing environment.
• Proficient in automation design & troubleshooting/specifying industrial controls systems & programming. Preferable in the medical device manufacturing industry.
• Proven problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Familiar with the application of probability distribution and process capability analysis to support manufacturing operations.
• Must have the ability to work in a team environment.
• Ability to influence others without authority.
• Excellent written and verbal communications skills and the ability to effectively communicate with stakeholders at all levels.
• Proficient in Microsoft applications and automation programming languages.
• Ability to model the Company's values of respect for people, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
