National Sales Support Manager

Wahl Clipper Corporation, a global manufacturer of branded Consumer and Professional products, has an exciting opportunity for a team-oriented individual to fill the role of National Sales Support Manager at our headquarters in Sterling, Illinois.

This position supports the Consumer Sales management team, National Sales Managers and National Account Managers with a broad range of activities in relation to sales and marketing of products to our retail customers.

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:

• Communicates with Sales, outside representatives, Value Streams to determine cause and solutions to order/inventory issues that arise and communicates to Accounts.
• Reviews, advises and makes changes to forecasts.
• Works with Marketing on Customer/GTIN requirements in regard to packaging requirement/changes.
• Manages and maintains WERCS, 1Sync/Sterling Commerce and GTIN data banks, to meet customer requirements.
• Work to manage allocations and reviews with supervisor.
• Reviews customer requirements including routing guides, vendor agreements and any other customer specific documents.
• Assists in managing customer specific programs for labels, order tracking, products being sold to Mexico and their UL requirements.
• Manages the planning and logistics for all the trade shows, planning meetings and sales meetings.
• Travels as required by position to trade shows and customer's
• Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor's degree in business or related field preferred with 2 - 3 years experience
• Effective oral and written communication skills
• Analytical and strong decision making ability
• Proficient organizational skills and detailed oriented
• Must display strong initiative/leadership ability to promote teamwork and cooperation within the organization and across various value streams to resolve conflicts/issues constructively
• Must be proficient in Microsoft computer applications, especially Excel, and be willing to learn customer required systems.
