National Sales Manager

The National Sales Manager - Walmart is a key strategic leader in Wahl's N.A. Consumer division responsible for leading the Walmart & SAMS Club team. This leader will work with many cross-functional teams including: Order Entry, Demand Planning, Marketing, Finance and Supply Chain to ensure the business runs smoothly and continues to grow at a high rate. The National Sales Manager-Walmart is responsible for sales growth, profitability, analytics, and customer line reviews, requiring attention to detail and strong communication skills. The National Sales Manager- Walmart reports to the Director of Sales North America Consumer Sales. There is one (1) direct report to this position along with a third subordinate on the team. This position will by Hybrid or Remote based on location, based out of or near Sterling, IL or Bentonville, AR preferred.

  • Bachelor's Degree required.
  • 5+ years relevant sales experience selling to Walmart preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years of sales leadership experience in a Consumer-Packaged Goods (CPG) company preferred.
  • Proven track record in Fact Based Selling (analyzing data, developing a story, presenting and implementing strategies) that have created demand and maximized sales while maintaining profit margins.
  • Must have excellent written, oral and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Must have excellent computer skills.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Power Point, Outlook, Teams) and data analysis
  • Ability to work in fast paced, high energy environment.
  • Ability to work independently and in a group/team setting.
  • Ability to work well under stress and handle multiple tasks
  • Willingness to travel up to 50% 25-40% (depending on location) as needed, including occasional weekend travel for shows and events
  • Ability to model the Company's values of respect for people, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
