Marketing Product Coordinator, Animal Division - Hybrid Position

Wahl Clipper Corporation, a global manufacturer of branded Consumer and Professional products, has an exciting opportunity for a creative individual to fill the role of Marketing Product Coordinator in our Animal Division.

The Product Coordinator assists in the administration, coordination, and implementation of various marketing projects including, but not limited to, new product development, market research, product evaluations, product quality, costing, obsolete disposition, store and competitor analysis, D365 Cases, and Product Request Notices to maximize professional animal sales, profits and market share of product categories. This position will work with and report directly to the Professional Animal Divisional Marketing Director.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Assist Product Managers with new product development and changes to current professional animal SKUs.
  • Works directly with the Product Management, Sales, and Operations teams to drive the D365 Case & Product Request Form (PRF) processes.
  • Consolidate, define, and update inventory clearance list and document as required. Coordinate with Service department on obsolete component usage.
  • This position is responsible for updating, reviewing, and ensuring accuracy of marketing collateral, product materials (online and offline), and price lists.
  • Analyze, update, and report on market data based on market research. Additionally, utilize comp shops, Nielsen data, field research, surveys, and product testing to assist in creating action plans to drive new product development and grow market share.
  • Work closely with internal team members to recruit and grow the Wahl Product Testing teams for each segment. Maintain and execute a standard product testing process. Coordinate test groups and products for soliciting feedback. Organize test data and distribute analytical reports/findings. Make improvement suggestions for future product testing.
  • Responsible for recommending and assisting in the planning and implementation of long-term goals such as new product development, strong profit margins, and consistent customer satisfaction but analyzing feedback accordingly.
  • Assist in cost reduction initiatives.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred or Associates Degree with equivalent experience
  • 2 years' experience in Marketing or Communications related roles
  • Must have strong Microsoft Office skills, with an emphasis on Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Excellent planning, organizational and attention to detail skills required
  • Ideally, working knowledge of Web and Social Media programs
  • Ability to model the Company's values of respect for people, teamwork, and continuous improvement
  • Work in an office environment with light physical demand
  • Ability to travel to trade shows and customers as necessary (< 10%)
