Wahl Clipper Corporation, a global manufacturer of branded Consumer and Professional products, has an exciting opportunity for a team-oriented individual to fill the role of Manufacturing Engineering Intern in Sterling, Illinois.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Assist Manufacturing Engineering with projects, including:
- Building prototype equipment for processing
- Performing measurement analysis on product to determine process capability
- Debugging/troubleshooting issues with equipment
- Designing fixturing for C.I. projects with multiple departments using 3D modeling, drafting, and 3D printing
- Other projects assigned by Supervisor
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- Current undergraduate or recently graduated
- Pursuing a degree or has a strong demonstrated passion for Engineering or similar field
- Completed at least one year of college
- Must be able to work under time constraints
- Must be a quick learner
- Must be reliable and a self-starter
