Maintenance Supervisor

Wahl Clipper Corporation, a global manufacturer of branded Consumer and Professional products, has an exciting opportunity for a team-oriented individual to fill the role of Maintenance Supervisor at our Global Headquarters in Sterling, Illinois.

The Maintenance Supervisor assists the Facility Maintenance Manager in the overall supervision of operations within in the Maintenance Department. Ensures timely delivery of quality support and services, driving continuous improvement in a safe work environment. Provides leadership to employees advancing the Wahl Way. The Maintenance Supervisor reports directly to the Facilities Maintenance Manager reporting directly to this position are the Maintenance Lead Person(s) and Process Improvement Technicians Lead Person(s).

• High school diploma or equivalent is required. Two-year college degree is preferred.
• 2-5 years supervisory experience in Manufacturing Maintenance environment preferred.
• Ability to communicate effectively with both written and oral with employees and management.
• This person must be receptive to continuing education and training in the areas of supervision, safety, manufacturing technology, scheduling, quality and lean manufacturing.
• Ability to model the company's values of teamwork, respect and continuous improvement.
