Maintenance Planner

Wahl Clipper Corporation, a global manufacturer of branded Consumer and Professional products, has an exciting opportunity for a Maintenance Planner at our Global Headquarters in Sterling, Illinois.

This position reports directly to the Facilities Manager, this position will have direct accountability of all areas of planning and scheduling within the Maintenance department. This position will have no direct reports.

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:

1. Plan all Predictive, Preventive, and Condition Based Maintenance, in conjunction with the sites production and operational plan, including resource (mechanic, operators, parts, equipment) availability to execute activities effectively and efficiently in a coordinated way.
2. Help prioritize and escalate critical works as necessary.
3. Manage CMMS Data, ensuring that appropriate information is entered into the CMMS system when a modification, improvement, or addition is made to manufacturing, utilities, and/or other support area equipment.
4. Monitor work order backlog: schedule backlog work in a timely manner to maintain a reasonable level
5. Monitor/Audit Mechanic data entry and quality into CMMS (HIPPO) Convert to Work Orders or provide feedback to requestors as appropriate and Monitor Workorder Completion, Backlog, and Schedule Compliance.
6. Drive continuous improvement projects
7. Generate and distribute KPI, and trend analysis and CMMS reports

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

• 3 years' experience in a Manufacturing, Maintenance, & Engineering environment required
• Experience as a Maintenance Planner preferred, including the effective planning and coordination of maintenance activities, considering production schedule and other standard activities related to maintenance planning.
• Exposure to TPM, maintenance planning techniques and maintenance execution preferred
• Participation in coordination and planning of maintenance activities.
• Ability to integrate into all parts of the operation to support the facility in achieving goals and objectives.
• Experience with CMMS system.
