Wahl Clipper Corporation, a global manufacturer of branded Consumer and Professional products, has an exciting opportunity for an experienced LATAM eCommerce professional to join our team in Sunrise, Florida.

The LATAM eCommerce Sales Manager provides the day-to-day project management of the LATAM e-commerce operations to achieve sales and profit goals. Designs and recommends online sales programs and sets short and long-term online sales goals to increase sales, improve user experience, and manages operational performance. Tasks will include strategy, data analysis, product marketing, review enhancements, and content strategy development associated with driving customer engagement, conversion and purchase of Wahl Professional products. This individual contributor will manage the eCommerce platforms, and does not have direct reports.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  1. Recommends and implements online pricing strategies to achieve online sales targets. Liaise with all internal/ external stakeholders regularly to ensure all online campaign/channel activity initiatives are properly identified, communicated, planned, executed and measured, complying with legal requirements.
  2. Develops regional market specific goals to increase direct online sales in alignment with the Company strategy. Identifies and manages business development relationships to increase online sales.
  3. Ensures smooth implementation and commercialization of all new online features and products in the local market. Ensures all fulfilment and payment processes are implemented, supported and managed according to guidelines. Ensures quality interaction across all digital devices.
  4. Manage websites and sales channel information with product updates and new product additions as required. Drives effective onsite promotions and improves site conversion aligning with Company strategies.
  5. Develops project deliverables, performance metrics, Omni-channel sales, analytics and business analysis for all program enhancements.
  6. Monitors and oversees the enforcement of Minimum Advertised Pricing policies through contracted compliance firm and the Wahl Team
  7. Manage and track results; provide analytics reporting & frequent updates to global and regionally set performance/KPIs
  8. Works in conjunction with the Global Digital Marketing team, Marketing Director, LATAM Team and National Sales Manager and Product Management Team to develop channel specific marketing activities that will increase traffic to the Wahl product pages and increase overall conversion across our eCommerce channels.

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  1. Develop and recommend overall online sales strategy, budgets and sales objectives in partnership with local senior management and Global Digital Marketing team
  2. Serves as the subject matter expert on Amazon, marketplaces and eCommerce distributors in and throughout the LATAM region.
  3. Develop and execute promotional and marketing strategy for our websites in alignment with global strategies and programs.
  4. Manages eCommerce Distributor relationships and acts as the point person for the Latin America Region.
  5. Utilize analytics and tracking tools to gauge the program's success and adjust for improvements,.
  6. Engages and attend ongoing market training to ensure our eCommerce strategies are the most effective and up to date available to maximize sales and profits
  7. Creates presentations, sales update reports and delivers presentations on a regular basis to inform key stakeholders and the Professional Team on our progress and the competitive landscape
  8. Lead project management and act as liaison and facilitator to regional internal and external teams, including vendors, fulfilment and warehouse centers, partners, and agencies in implementing global initiatives and integrations.
  9. Trouble shoot technical issues to provide a great customer experience.
  10. Foster entrepreneurial culture to promote breakthrough ideas and innovation.
  11. Understands and teaches the many facets of Amazon SEO, sponsored ads and reviews.
  12. Works cross functionally with other departments within Wahl and with Wahl subsidiaries to maximize learnings and share best practices.
  13. Leads and ensures completion of special projects to achieve corporate sales and profit objectives.
  14. Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred
  • 5-7 years working in eCommerce, specifically with Mercado Libre, Amazon, and Marketplaces in and throughout the LATAM region
  • Basic knowledge of HTML and front-end web development
  • Must have high-functioning Microsoft Office skills
  • Strong planning/organizational skills
  • Ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment.
  • Shows respect for individuals by valuing diversity, listening and considering others' ideas
  • Exercises change management skills by embracing change with little resistance
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to speak, read and write English
  • Ability to speak and understand Spanish and or Portuguese
  • Ability to travel 25% of the time
