Wahl Clipper Corporation, a global manufacturer of branded Consumer and Professional products, has an exciting opportunity for a team-oriented individual to fill the role of Supply Chain Intern within our Material Planning department at our offices in Sterling, Illinois.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Project- Material Planning Team Playbook

• Create the Material Planning Team Playbook Design
• Observe the established standard work and develop a basic learning of why
• Document standard work in an easily editable format

Other- Supply Chain 101

• Shadow each functional area within Supply Chain:
  • Demand Planning
  • Master Production Scheduling
  • Distribution Operations (Receiving, Material Warehouse, Shipping)
• Topics to cover:
  • General overview of functional area and the role it serves in the overall E2E supply chain
  • Specifics to learn:
    • Planning
      • Developing a Demand Forecast
      • Creating a Supply Plan
      • Establishing a Material Plan
    • Execution
      • Understanding fill rate, OTIF and addressing the gaps
      • Importance of each operations & key measures of success

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

• Currently pursuing a degree from an accredited university
• Supply Chain Major preferred
• Ability to commute to and from Sterling, IL
