Internship Summer 2022 - Product Design Research

Wahl Clipper Corporation, a global manufacturer of branded Consumer and Professional products, has an exciting opportunity for a team-oriented individual to fill the role of Product Design Research Intern within our new product development department at our offices in Sterling, Illinois.

The Product Design Research Intern will perform tasks such as forming research questionnaires, aiding and attending professional barber and stylist interviews, analyzing and consolidating research data, and creating and presenting presentations. This individual will be highly collaborative with our marketing, engineering, and industrial design teams.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

• Current undergraduate or recently graduated from an accredited university
• Anthropology, Industrial Design, or similar major preferred
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Problem solving and analytical abilities
• Ability to integrate and work within a highly collaborative and diverse group of individuals
• Proficiency using Adobe Suite, PowerPoint, Excel
• Strong Organizational skills, and the ability to work on multiple ongoing projects
