Internship Summer 2022 - International Marketing

Wahl Clipper Corporation, a global manufacturer of branded Consumer and Professional products, has an exciting opportunity for a team-oriented individual to fill the role of International Marketing Intern at our offices in Sterling, Illinois to function as an international product coordinator.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Assist in the creation and support of marketing materials such as product packaging and international and print catalogs
• Assist in the distribution of marketing materials from the IMM to the appropriate territory contact
• Assist with the day-to-day requests from international product managers for product specs, collecting information cross-functionally from engineering, sales, packaging, IP, and compliance as needed
• Perform analysis of marketing, inventory, and sales data as requested to assist in identifying opportunities for improvement and growth
• Provide support and gain exposure in artwork management platforms like Esko (Webcenter) and market research platforms like Survey Monkey and Qualtrics
• Assist in the project of consolidation and standardization of colorants, components, and finished goods at the various factories and international subsidiaries

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

• Undergraduate student majoring in Marketing, Sales, Business Administration, or related major preferred
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Driven and hard-working
• Receptive to various cultures and communication styles
• Ability to take direction and multi-task
• Must be able to attend meetings at international time zones as needed (6amCST 6pmCST)
• PowerPoint, Word, and Excel proficiency preferred
