Internship Summer 2022 - Human Resources

Wahl Clipper Corporation, a global manufacturer of branded Consumer and Professional products, has an exciting opportunity for a team-oriented individual to fill the role of Human Resources Intern at our Global Headquarters in Sterling, Illinois.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Manage HR Projects (employee document automation, identifying & creating talent pipeline)
• Co-lead focus group sessions
• Work with HR generalists on key HR initiatives
• Create presentations and provide training as needed
• Prepare talent materials
• Identify and report on relevant trends and assist in implementing appropriate responses to improve processes and increase effectiveness of HR procedures and recordkeeping
• Other projects as assigned by Supervisor

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

• Current undergraduate or recently graduated from an accredited university
• Pursuing a degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Organizational Development, Business, or related field
• Some experience working in an office environment
• Proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications
• Excellent administrative and organizational skills with high attention to detail
• Effective communication skills
• An appreciation and respect for the diversity of all individuals in the workplace along with modeling the Company's values of integrity, teamwork, and continuous improvement
