Internship Summer 2022 - Demand Planning
Wahl Clipper Corporation, a global manufacturer of branded Consumer and Professional products, has an exciting opportunity for a team-oriented individual to fill the role of Demand Planning Intern at our offices in Sterling, Illinois.
MUST be able to commute to and from Sterling, IL to work on-site.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Learn basic principles of forecasting and identifying data trends
- Assist in creation of statistical modeling to drive consensus forecast meetings
- Assist in KPI development and standardization
- Assist in attribute coding and standardization as it relates to demand reporting
- Assist in the creation of standard visuals to facilitate demands meetings, holistic supply vs demand review, and executive S&OP data mining, analysis, and forecast consensus
- Assist in entering updated forecasts into planning analytics
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- Currently pursuing a degree from an accredited university
- Supply Chain or business major preferred
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Problem solving and analytical abilities
- Ability to integrate and work within a highly collaborative and diverse group of individuals
