International Demand Planner
This position is responsible for partnering with the Regional Senior Demand Planners to understand the demand driven activities associated with customers and product for the International Sales & Marketing team.
The International Demand Planner reports directly to the Demand Planning Manager.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Provide Regional Senior Demand Planners with focused reporting to drive monthly dialogue
- Review customer order volume and variances and partner with International Customer Service and Sterling Operations to develop action plans
- Identify impactful monthly forecast changes and partner with Regional Senior Demand Planners to understand contributing factors
- Partner with Sterling factory on impactful monthly forecast changes to review item lead time and develop supply plan
- Support Sterling Supply Planning in Monthly S&OP inventory strategy reviews to achieve customer on-time delivery targets and obtain alignment with Regional Senior Demand Planners and International Sales & Marketing
- Understand global supply chain initiatives and support Sterling factory signals for operational success
- Support International Sales & Marketing team and Sterling factory with product transition data management
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Achieve Forecast Accuracy Targets
- Achieve Customer On-Time Delivery Targets
- Achieve Finished Goods Inventory Turns Targets
- Support Product Transitions
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- BS in Business, Operations Management, Supply Chain or related field of study required
- 3 5 years of Demand Planning experience
- Strong communication, presentation, persuasion and negotiation skills
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong foundation in inventory management concepts
- Experience in SAP, JDA or equivalent replenishment planning system
- Excellent software skills emphasis on Microsoft Office (Excel), Business Objects, Microsoft Power BI, enterprise systems
- Must understand and embrace the Wahl values and culture
