Intercompany Replenishment Manager

Wahl Clipper Corporation, a global manufacturer of branded Consumer and Professional products, has an exciting opportunity for a team-oriented individual to fill the role of Intercompany Replenishment Manager at our Global headquarters in Sterling, Illinois.

The position will develop intercompany replenishment strategies and action plans for our Asia factories to support the company's On-Time Delivery, cost, and inventory management objectives.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Lead globally aligned replenishment plan between significant distribution subsidiaries and Asia factories to achieve the company's On-Time delivery, Cost and Inventory Management objectives.
• Partner with Sterling and global subsidiaries to aggregate and understand customer demand and partner with Asia factory operations team to understand capacity and develop supply plan. The aligned replenishment plan must balance global demand and supply.
• Primary responsibility will be supporting Sterling demand, however this position will lead efforts to ensure product availability for all sites
• Support factories with aggregate capacity management: level load strategies, manage inter-plant transfers between factories, tooling recommendations
• Additional projects include:
  • Leadtime reduction,
  • Delayed differentiation opportunities to maximize customer service, capacity utilization, and inventory management, including the management of domestic off-site packaging operation
  • Drive standardization efforts

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:

• Achieve customer service targets - OTIF of 98%
• Balance supply and demand at factories - allowing factories to execute operational excellence initiatives
• Develop and execute inventory plans to support customer service goals and inventory management targets
• Develop model to evaluate and execute delayed differentiation model
• Partner with factories to reduce replenishment leadtime
• Perform other duties as assigned by Supervisor.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• BS in Business, Operations Management, Engineering, Supply Chain or related field of study required or 15 years work experience
• Replenishment expert

• • 10 years of replenishment experience with 5+ years of experience developing/managing the process
  • Proven experience with demand driven replenishment processes
  • Ability to determine appropriate replenishment process based upon end to end supply chain conditions (variation, leadtime, customer expectations)

• Experience managing global replenishment/supply
• 3+ years' experience supporting manufacturing operations (engineering, planning, or supply chain role) preferred
• End to end optimization of global supply chain involving cross functional team
• Project management experience preferred
• Possess excellent communication skills and ability to influence others
• Ability to travel internationally (15% of the time) and work non-traditional hours to accommodate global suppliers
