Infrastructure Services Manager

Wahl Clipper Corporation, a global manufacturer of branded Consumer and Professional products, has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Infrastructure Services Manager.

The ideal candidate will manage resources while being hands on in architecting an optimal, stable, flexible infrastructure and service desk environments. Manage all operational-related processes, ensure that the operation of Wahl's IT Infrastructure meets defined service levels, and serve as an owner for all infrastructure services and solutions. This requires a solid understanding of corporate infrastructure, networking, security, asset management and system monitoring. Work closely with hardware and software Vendors. Establish and enforce appropriate standards, policies and procedures. Align and partner with internal IT teams and other internal business partners on project prioritization, project plans, roadmap development, support, project estimates, and overall organization budget. The Infrastructure Services Manager reports directly to the Chief Information Officer. There are 4 -5 direct reports to this position.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Leads IT Infrastructure team including Help Desk (both outsourced and in house resources), Desktop, Database, and Network Systems Administration staff
• Provides regular coaching, creates performance goals and completes performance appraisals in alignment with corporate performance management system
• Leads/supports cross-functional projects as required
• Works with all departments to monitor the effectiveness of all IT software, hardware and services
• Reviews IT vendor support contracts annually to control costs and identify opportunities for service improvements and cost savings
• Ensures all IT systems are developed and implemented using in accord with IT deployment and testing standards
• Applies root cause analysis and good problem-solving techniques when issues arise in to ensure permanent resolution
• Provide leadership to implement IT infrastructure required for IT operational needs for core systems and services
• Develop and implement cost effective plans to support evolving business needs
• Ensure ongoing alignment between operational performance goals and business requirements
• Conduct consistent monitoring and measurement of IT resources for performance, capacity and lifecycle planning
• Evaluate new technology within the scope of the role to continually address operational constraints and improvement opportunities

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

• Associates degree in an IT related field and 7 years of relevant hands-on technical experience
• Demonstrated success in IT project management
• 3-5 years' experience leading IT function and team members with diverse skillsets
• Windows and Linux server administration
• Network administration
• Office 365 administration (Exchange, SharePoint, OneDrive, Teams)
• Experience with disaster recovery methodologies and tools
• Solid written and verbal communication skills
• Collaborative team player
• Understanding of technology trends in operation systems, database systems, and network, and concepts in Enterprise Data Storage.
• Desktop productivity tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Visio, Project)
• Help Desk call tracking management
