JOB SUMMARY:

The IT Specialist role ensures proper computer operations. This position is responsible for solving technical problems with computer systems, software, hardware, networks, cloud platforms, computer operations, etc., and assisting in the planning, development, implementation, and support of the organization's Information Systems. This includes actively resolving end user help requests within established Service Level Agreements (SLAs) as well as guaranteeing availability of information, applications and systems that end users need to accomplish their daily tasks.

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:

• Work collaboratively with internal stakeholders to execute initiatives and develop solutions that drive business and organizational strategies.
• Ability to model the Company's values of respect for people, leading with humility, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
• Manage and/or administers IT projects.
• Maintain all hardware, software, servers and infrastructure.
• Required to develop expertise in Wahl systems and software.
• Attend courses, seminars, conferences, and participate in user groups to maintain and increase their level of knowledge regarding the industry, technologies, and applications appropriate to the IT & environment in which they work.
• Maintain awareness of all IT policies, guidelines and procedures, and comply with them.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Supervisor.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

• Associate's degree, or equivalent experience in Computer Science required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 3+ years network/desktop work experience preferred.
• Experience with Microsoft related desktop and server operating systems preferred.
• Technical knowledge in hardware/software and related technologies in several areas preferred.
• Exceptional written and oral communication skills. Strong documentation skills.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills, with a focus on rapport-building, listening and questioning skills.
• Demonstrate ability to work effectively on projects or assignments and prepare and present reports as required.
