The IT Application Senior Manager's role is responsible for analyzing, designing, programing, installing, and maintaining the company's US office/HQ computer systems, and supporting the Global database and Business Intelligence platforms.

The role will also lead the application team. This will include coaching and people leadership to provide a first-rate service to the users of Wahl's computer systems. This position must keep abreast of changes in information technology, databases, Business Intelligence and Business Analytics systems, and programing languages. The person will need to manage multiple deadlines and goals while assisting end users with solutions to fill their information needs.

This role (and staff) will install personal, departmental, location-wide, regional, and global systems.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

  • Associate's degree, or equivalent experience in Computer Science required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 10 years in programming or programming management required.
  • 3+ years applications development experience preferred.
  • 5 years managing a team of technical staff preferred.
  • Experience with MS SQL Server and TSQL.
  • Familiarity with MS Azure.
  • Familiarity with Power BI and other MS Power Platforms.
  • Experience with Microsoft related systems like .NET and D365 preferred.
  • Experience with EDI.
  • Technical knowledge in Cloud-based applications preferred.

  • Ability to travel.
