Human Resources Administrator

Wahl Clipper Corporation, a global manufacturer of branded Consumer and Professional products, has an exciting opportunity for an energetic and team-oriented individual to fill the role of Human Resources Administrator at Wahl Clipper Co., in Sterling, Illinois. 

The Human Resources Administrator supports the Sterling facility and provides support to the Human Resources team reporting to the Sr. Mgr HR.  This role requires the utmost professionalism involving confidential and sensitive personnel matters.

The Human Resources Administrator  performs a wide range of personnel duties including, but not limited to:

  • General administrative support for employees and visitors
  • Plan Company events, employee awards & incentive programs
  • Assist in the plant hiring process by coordinating job postings, interviews and testing
  • Develop and maintain databases & spreadsheets as well as updates the VISTA system for Human Resources
  • Process tuition reimbursement
  • Maintain the Corporate security system
  • Update Company organizational charts
  • Maintain personnel files in compliance with applicable legal requirements

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

  • Ability to model the Company's values of respect for people, teamwork and continuous improvement
  • Associate's degree in Human Resources or business field preferred or relevant experience required
  • Experience in a Human Resources department with general knowledge of HR policies and practices, a plus 
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications such as Outlook, Word, Excel and Powerpoint 
  • Effectively interact with persons of all organizational levels
  • Excellent verbal & written communication skills
  • Excellent attention to detail 
  • Above average organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and be flexible to handle interruptions is key
  • Willingness to attend HR related seminars, training or education/certification to enhance knowledge 
  • Performs other duties as assigned by Supervisor.
