Wahl Clipper Corporation, a global manufacturer of branded Consumer and Professional products, has an exciting opportunity for a team-oriented individual to fill the role of HR Leave Administrator II at our Global Headquarters in Sterling, Illinois.

The HR Leave Administrator II is responsible for managing all aspects of Leave of Absence (LOA) program with regards to approved LOA, Family Medical Leave Act (FMLA), Short Term Disability (STD), and Long Term Disability (LTD) programs. Responsible for ensuring compliance with all applicable state, local, and federal regulations. Appropriately partners with Manager to ensure processes, policies, and procedures are amended as needed based on internal or external changes or trends. This team member will be the subject matter expert for all aspects of leave of absence, and lead the team forward with a strong working knowledge of the area. This position reports directly to the HR Business Partner and will have 1 direct report (HR Leave Administrator).

  • High School Diploma Required
  • Progressive experience with Short Term Disability and FMLA
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Knowledge and ability to use Microsoft Office applications
  • Ability to model Wahl's values including respect, integrity, innovation and continuous improvement
  • Ability to lead with humility and respect every individual
