HR Generalist - Corporate

Wahl Clipper Corporation, a global manufacturer of branded Consumer and Professional products, has an exciting opportunity for an experienced HR Generalist to join our Corporate HR Team.

The Human Resources Generalist supports Corporate and North America support functions including IT, finance, human resources, innovation, marketing, and sales. This role requires the utmost professionalism involving confidential and sensitive personnel matters. This position reports to the Global Director of Human Resources. There are no direct reports to this position.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

1. Provides Human Resources support for the Corporate and North America support functions serving as a link between management and employees.

1. Serves as a business partner with leadership teams to develop and execute initiatives that drive business and organizational strategies.

1. Facilitates the process between employees and management to discuss and resolve performance and conduct issues.

1. Recruits for salaried professional positions taking a strategic approach to sourcing candidates that meet the business needs and fit with the Wahl culture.

1. Understands position requirements, develops position profiles and job postings that are informative and aligned with our employer brand.

1. Utilizes knowledge of positions within the Company to support the job leveling and compensation analysis process.

1. Ensures that the company procedures and policies are consistently and appropriately applied.

1. Participates and/or leads projects for human resources.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor's Degree in human resources or business field preferred or relevant experience required
• Minimum 3 years' HR Generalist experience required supporting similar functions
• Prior experience recruiting professional roles
• An appreciation and respect for the diversity of all individuals in the workplace along with modeling the Company's values of integrity, teamwork, innovation and continuous improvement
• Ability to work independently and make decisions that are in alignment with the overall company strategy
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment
• Must be proactive in nature with strong analytical and follow-up skills
• Excellent verbal & written communication skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications such as Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
