Wahl Clipper Corporation, a global manufacturer of branded Consumer and Professional products, has an exciting opportunity for a team-oriented individual to fill the role of Global Supply Chain Intern at our offices in Sterling, Illinois.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Understand Supply Chain responsibilities and the how the Supply Chain functional support the business stakeholders
• Learn the application of basic Supply Chain principles and concepts within Wahl Clipper
• Gain a deeper understanding of Demand Planning, Supply Planning, and Distribution and Logistics
• Obtain work experience through the job responsibility assigned OR the project assigned
• Interface with Global Supply Chain leadership team through periodic reviews to present accomplishments, key findings, improvement opportunities

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

• Pursuing a bachelor's degree in supply chain, Operations Management, or related field of study
• Excellent organizational, analytical, decision-making and communication skills
• Proficient software skills (e.g.: Microsoft excel)
• Interest in Supply Chain concepts including:
  • Demand Planning
  • Supply Planning
  • Material Requirements Planning (MRP)
  • Inventory Strategy and Management
  • Production Scheduling
  • Distribution
  • Logistics
• Ability to model the Company's values of teamwork, continuous improvement, and respect for every individual
