Global Sourcing Intern

Wahl Clipper Corporation, a global manufacturer of branded Consumer and Professional products. We have exciting opportunities for college students to spend the summer with Wahl at our Global Headquarters in Sterling, Illinois.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

1. Assist with strategic supplier initiatives including supplier selection, development, consolidation, and platforming methodology.
2. Create, analyze, and communicate forecast information to suppliers and understand capacity and supply chain stumbling blocks.
3. Work closely with internal customers/stakeholders to understand priorities, timing, and strategy of key business requirements.
4. Assist with the management and maintenance of supplier information, including on-boarding documentation and database management.
5. Maintain BOM/SKU information for new items, item changes, etc.

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:

1. Work cross-functionally on projects with internal and external stakeholders.
2. Data maintenance of supplier information and SKU information.
3. Performs all other duties as assigned.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

• Currently pursuing a degree or recent graduate in Supply Chain Management strongly preferred
• Integrity, humility, flexibility and a creative thought process.
• Strong "follow up" mind set and attention to detail.
