Financial Analyst Intern

Wahl Clipper Corporation, a global manufacturer of branded Consumer and Professional products. We have exciting opportunities for college students to spend the summer with Wahl at our Global Headquarters in Sterling, Illinois.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

1. Assist with day-to-day Operations Finance processes.
2. Facilitate the completion of a consolidated fixed asset list.
3. Work to improve our current costing processes.
4. Participate in the completion of monthly financial forecasts and track the actuals through weekly trackers.
5. Participate in month end close.

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:

1. Work cross-functionally on processes and projects with internal and external stakeholders.
2. Consistently meet deadlines and timelines required in both project planning as well as standard work cadence.
3. Performs all other duties as assigned.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

• Currently pursuing a degree or recent graduate in Accounting and or Finance.
• Strong excel skills with working knowledge of other Microsoft applications.
• Integrity, humility, flexibility and a creative thought process.
• Strong "follow up" mind set and attention to detail.
