Wahl Clipper Corporation, a global manufacturer of branded Consumer and Professional products, has an exciting opportunity for a team-oriented individual to fill the role of Digital Technical Services Lead at our Global Headquarters in Sterling, Illinois.

This Lead collaborates with the digital marketing team and determines the best digital technology solutions to achieve intended results based on the digital marketing strategy. The role has overall responsibility for engineering and developing solutions for websites, web and mobile apps, eCommerce and end to end digital platforms to support the digital marketing team.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Collaborates with digital marketing to understand and solve problems, discerning the appropriate use of digital technology.
• Provides insights and guidance to ecommerce stakeholders to demonstrate how technology solutions can be leveraged to meet ecommerce goals.
• Reviews business requirements for feasibility and technical estimation.
• Designs, develops, and implements solutions using a combination of off-the-shelf, software-as-a-service, open-source, and custom-built software.
• Follows established processes and uses tools and technologies that are consistent with existing solutions, infrastructure, and organizational support capabilities.
• Thoroughly document all solutions so they can be effectively supported and maintained.
• Controls all technical integrations with ecommerce platforms, third-party app integrations, and the whole ecommerce stack.
• Fine-tunes the technical stack with a focus on security, high availability, and scalability.
• Provides team code review and technical oversight, manages project tasks, tracks schedules and timelines.
• Troubleshoots, fixes defects, and extends the functionality of existing websites, systems, applications, mobile apps, and content management systems.
• Contributes to the ongoing development of the team by offering recommendations in the areas of process improvement and new technologies.
• Analyzes, identifies, researches, and recommends technology and business solutions to meet business requirements and IT system standards.
• Works closely with the Director of Digital Marketing and Digital Program Manager to develop the roadmaps and establish priorities.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, information systems, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
• 5- 7 years' experience with deep understanding of customer experience platforms, customer relationship platforms, ecommerce platforms, and more.
• Broad experience building high-performance production websites. Experience with web application development with tech stacks like Adobe Commerce, Magento, headless ecommerce, CMS platforms, or any technology you're using for your ecommerce business.
• Extensive knowledge of project management methods, software development lifecycles, and production software system architecture design. Familiarity with Agile principles/Scrum methodology a plus.
• Proven ability to achieve results by influencing without authority
• Capable of writing structured query language (SQL) queries and understanding query optimization.
• Backend integration experience and knowledge of security technology and IT standards and controls.
• Design experience in multi-site and multi-country, end-to-end implementations of eCommerce platforms.
• Comfortable participating in collaborative discussions
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
