Digital Designer, Consumer - Hybrid Remote position

Wahl Clipper Corporation, a global manufacturer of branded Consumer and Professional products, has an exciting opportunity for a team-oriented individual to fill the role of Digital Designer for Consumer Marketing at our headquarters in Sterling, Illinois.

The Digital Designer is responsible for development of all digital content (photography, graphics, video and animations). This position creates a better digital presence for Wahl, while amplifying the creativity developed by our ad agency and alleviating money spend on creative execution that is more expensive through our agency. This position reports directly to the Digital Marketing Manager.

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:

• Satisfactory completion of assigned projects for sales and marketing per agreed upon schedule.
• Create graphics and videos for on and off-line marketing needs
• Create animations for product pages, merchandising and social media
• Take photography of people, products as needed
• Develop and maintain all of Wahl's digital assets
• Update assets with in the PIM/DAM system in a timely fashion in accordance to production changes
• Work with the Digital Engagement Coordinator on needs of Amazon, ecom, etc.
• Work with Product Management on the development of digital assets for products
• Collaborate with Ad Agency to divide social creative work appropriately
• Recommend adoption of hardware / software to best execute the digital asset creation
• Maintain a Logging System to help prioritize what can get done when
• Completes special projects and other duties as assigned to achieve corporate sales and profit objectives.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

• A minimum of 5 years of experience that includes a Bachelor degree in digital design or related field.
• Must possess good organizational, communication, typing and proofing skills.
• Demonstrated knowledge and ability to use a Macintosh computer and run specified graphic software, i.e. Adobe Illustrator, Adobe In-Design, Adobe Photoshop, Video Editing and 3D software.
• Must be creative, artistic and have working knowledge of digital cameras, lighting, scripting, producing and directing talent.
