This position is responsible for collaborating with Sales & Marketing to generate a quality demand signal used in downstream supply chain processes to align end to end material flow and prepare for actual customer demand. The Demand Planner reports directly to the Demand Planning Manager but is viewed as an integral part of the respective Sales & Marketing division supported.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

• BS in Business, Supply Chain, Operations Management, or related field of study required
• 3+ years of experience in demand planning, supply chain or forecasting role
• Excellent software skills - experience in IBM Planning Analytics, SAP or equivalent demand planning system preferred
• Ability to effectively break down complex data (quantitative and qualitative) into manageable pieces to be used in the forecasting process
• Demonstrated proficiency applying demand and inventory management concepts with an understanding of the financial and operational impacts
• Ability to work and influence effectively across departments and multiple levels of management
• Possess the business acumen and interpersonal skills to build and maintain cross functional relationships
• Ability to identify continuous improvement opportunities and bring ideas to fruition
• Must understand and embrace the Wahl values and culture
