Channel Marketing Intern

Wahl Clipper Corporation, a global manufacturer of branded Consumer and Professional products, has an exciting opportunity for a team-oriented individual to fill the role of Channel Marketing Coordinator Intern within our Professional Channel Marketing department in Sterling, Illinois.

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:

• Keep spreadsheets updated
• Update Salsify with Pro Human products
• Monitor Salsify for updates for Pro Human and Pro Animal products
• Create documents and presentations for future products
• Ensure files on SharePoint are updated (SOPs, Pro Human and Pro Animal matrix)
• Monitor due dates on projects and ensure time sensitive shipments for line reviews.
• Ship samples as needed to Pro Human and Pro Animal Sales Teams
• Pull data and analyze for inventory management, sku rationalization, promotion ideas
• Create and maintain Competitive product matrix for Pro Human and Pro Animal products

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

• Current undergraduate student or recently graduated from an accredited university
• Marketing, Business Administration, or related major preferred
• Strong written and verbal communications skills
• Detail oriented and strong organizational skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, etc.)
• Project management experience preferred
• Ability to integrate and work within a highly collaborative and diverse group of individuals
• Ability to model the company's values of respect for people, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
