The CAD technician uses CAD systems to create, support and improve design plans for parts and assemblies. This position works with a team that primarily focuses on product support and improvement. This position reports to the Sr. Product Support Engineer. There are no direct reports to this position.

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:

• Assist in assembly line support duties.
• Modify existing mechanical drawings to current/revised specifications.
• Manage current/obsolete CAD files through Teamcenter.
• Produce documents including ECNs, Tool work orders, deviations & LTRs.
• Performs other duties as assigned by Supervisor.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

• Associates Degree in drafting/mechanical/engineering or related field required
• 1-3 years of experience is required
• Strong Computer Aided Design skills, Unigraphics skills preferred
• Ability to communicate effectively through oral and written presentation
• Working knowledge of computer programs including MS Office
