Analyst/ Programmer

The Analyst Programmer is responsible for planning, designing, developing, acquiring, documenting, testing, implementing, integrating, maintaining, and modifying computer-based systems for the organization.

This position reports directly to the Applications Development Manager. There are no direct reports to this position. However, this position may work as a project manager and can manage/direct vendors, consultants, and interns. This position may also be assigned to projects managed by others outside of IT. In this context they may report to a project manager in the context of those projects.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  1. Create or modify digital data driven documents using D365 F&O, MS Word and Docentric AX and other software systems.
  2. Ability to create print-ready and data-enabled forms using Microsoft Word.
  3. Able to create electronic copies of data driven reports for managed storage and electronic delivery.
  4. Translates information findings and requirements into forms.
  5. Provide accurate creation/revisions to the document requested.
  6. Responsible for planning, designing, developing, acquiring, documenting, testing, implementing, integrating, and maintaining forms.
  7. Analyze information requirements throughout the enterprise.
  8. Document information requirements and all related processes in both current and desired future state.
  9. Facilitates the successful adoption of systems by involving users appropriately from needs analysis through implementation.
  10. Coordinate and facilitate work groups involved in the analysis, selection and implementation phases.
  11. Administers purchased or subscribed systems in accordance with the system needs, business needs, and management's desires.
  12. Creates user training materials and work instructions.
  1. Works cross-functionally internally and with subsidiaries to support "One Wahl".
  1. Uses an innovative mind-set to continuously improve processes, analyze, problem solve, and come forward with proposals.
  2. Thinks systemically to ensure end-to-end business strategy alignment.
  3. Leads with humility and respects every individual.
  4. Perform other duties as assigned.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

  • Associate degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience required.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office especially MS Word.
  • 3 years relevant experience in forms or print design.
  • Demonstrated knowledge in the areas of requirements gathering, software system design, documentation, testing, implementation, integration, maintenance and modification.
  • Project Management skills to handle multiple projects from beginning to end.
  • Demonstrated strong knowledge of software development life cycle and strong analytical skills.
  • Must have excellent Customer Service and be able to communicate to a diverse set of customers both written and orally.
  • Demonstrated excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, effective communication and presentation skills.
  • ERP system and manufacturing experience.

PREFFERED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Experience with Docentric AX and Microsoft D365 Finance & Operations.
  • 3+ years of designing data driven forms utilizing Microsoft Word.
