This role requires a strategic visionary who will work in partnership to develop and execute the eCommerce strategy for the global needs of the business. Responsibilities will include understanding the eCommerce opportunities and threats, appraising the company's capabilities, sharing best practices across the organization and supporting the execution of appropriate strategies to capture the greatest opportunities and improve the customer experience.  This role will report into our Global Strategic Marketing organization.

Key Job Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Identify eCommerce opportunities and threats by understanding global market trends and best practices in multiple industries.
  • Collaborate across divisions and regions to develop strategic relationships in order to understand their business challenges and become a trusted advisor
  • Build a deep understanding of the company's approach to eCommerce and digital marketing strategies
  • Create a vision for the strategy in partnership with global stakeholders recognizing the unique business needs globally.
  • Assess our local capabilities, and support the development of strategy and talent globally.
  • Work with global stakeholders to identify and implement best in class technologies that can be leveraged across our organization.
  • Serve as the liaison and primary point of contact for cross functional partners to share best practices, as well as evaluate, help prioritize, develop, implement and test eCommerce initiatives.
  • Create and present information in a way that is meaningful to the business with a willingness to adapt style to meet the needs of the business.
  • Consult on projects to ensure eCommerce principles/strategies are being incorporated appropriately.
  • Work cross functionally with local Operations, Logistics, Finance, Sales and Marketing to capitalize on distribution opportunities.

The ideal person for this position has the following minimal requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree required in Business, Marketing, Computer Science or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years marketing experience with at least 3 years eCommerce related experience
  • Passion to continuously learn and experiment to improve the business
  • Ability to derive a deep understanding of our industry through analytic tools like CRM programs from Salesforce or Microsoft, Amazon market research tools, and proprietary marketplace screening tools in various countries.
  • Able to take complex information and communicate effectively to different levels within the organization
  • Strong business judgement and decision-making skills
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written with the ability to influence
  • Ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment with people of diverse backgrounds; experience working globally preferred
  • Motivated self-starter, proactive and action-oriented
  • Ability to model the Company's values which include respect for every individual, integrity, innovation and continuous improvement.
