The eCommerce Marketing Analyst will be responsible for the successful marketing of Wahl Professional Animal products in Online Marketplace and eCommerce channels, as well as enforcement of Wahl Professional Animal division's Internet Minimum Advertised Price (IMAP) policy.

The primary purpose of this position is to make data-driven business decisions to drive growth in online sales channels such as online marketing places (amazon.com) and business partners' websites. This position is responsible for reporting and analyzing sales, share, rankings, marketing and promotion effectiveness, and customers reviews; tracking online competition; monitoring IMAP policy violations; and content strategy development and execution.

Key Job Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Responsible for monthly e-commerce performance reporting and analyzing data to identify trends, uncover insights, and make recommendations to accelerate e-commerce growth
  • Utilize Amazon Vendor Central and other reporting tools to track sales performance, share, promotional results, key words, and competitive information
  • Support National Account Manager and Marketing with content optimization, promotional analysis, path to purchase drivers and forecast analysis
  • Conduct content audits; review content quarterly across all e-commerce sites to ensure accuracy and help update content as needed to drive sales and reviews
  • Monitor online pricing, identify IMAP policy violators, issue warning letters to violators, and implement penalties as outlined in the IMAP policy
  • Weekly review of KPIs with focus on solving out of stocks & pricing issues
  • Understand the many facets of Amazon; maintain awareness of emerging digital and e-commerce opportunities and the possibilities for their use by the Professional Animal division
  • SKU rationalization; make product assortment recommendations based on sales analysis, customer reviews, etc.
  • Search results and customer reviews optimization
  • Work closely with Sales and Marketing team members and outside consultant(s) to achieve key strategic initiatives
  • Achieve sales and profit objectives for assigned channel(s)
  • Performs other duties as assigned by Supervisor

The ideal person for this position has the following minimal requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Management, Statistics or other related field; Digital Marketing concentration is preferred
  • 1-2 years minimum of e-commerce experience required
  • Minimum 2 years' experience as marketing analyst, data analyst, or in a marketing or sales support role Experience selling products on online marketplaces required (Amazon a plus)
  • Experience with Amazon and Vendor Central is a plus
  • Strong creative, problem-solving, presentation, public speaking, planning and organization skills
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Proven ability to convert strategies into operational plans and tactical execution
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and to set priorities according to business needs
  • Ability to take initiative and resolve complex issues
  • Strong computer/Microsoft Office suite skills
  • Ability to model the Company's values of respect for people, teamwork, and continuous improvement
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B status)


  • Travel up to 15% annually for e-commerce seminars, customer meetings, etc.
